The Soul Nebula

Westerhout 5, the Soul Nebula, is a hydrogen rich region in constellation Cassiopea where star formation is actively taking place and it has many interesting features.

Messier 106 is a spiral galaxy located in constellation Canes Venatici. It has an extremely active supermassive black hole in its center which creates an extra pair of arms, not made of stars but of gas.

PK 104-29.1 is a planetary nebula in constellation Pegasus not often imaged. It is quite faint and has a small Ha structure.

NGC 7822 is a large gas region in constellation Cepheus, encompassing the star forming region Sharpless 171 and a young star cluster called Berkeley 59.
